I love flipping through my photo files and playing with the pictures, but lately they've all started begging to be posted. "Pick me! Pick me!" they say. "Okay," I tell them, "but just for a little while." So here I am, ponying up one digital image a day, every day. (Click on any image to enlarge it.)
I think I'll pass on the pigeon meat. Hey, at the grocery today we were looking at the Mexican foods and there was a can of "pigeon peas". I wish I'd bought a can-maybe I will next time I'm in the store. They had pink beans too, but that didn't seem appetizing.

Now, that's something I haven't seen before. Makes sense to have it on stilts-makes it hard for animals to get in there.
Janet, we read on a sign that pigeons were an important source of both meat and fertilizer.
