I had to look up the word plethora having never seen it before. found it was an over abundance of something.

Hmm. I possibly misused the word, then. There were more ducks on that lake than i've ever seen in one spot (WAY more than pictured here), but an "overabundance"? I don't know about that. Who can say how many ducks are too many?

This post made me look up the names for multiples and I found I've been using the name for my ducks incorrectly!

A team of ducks can be ducks in flight but not in the water! Who knew? (Everyone but me?) Of the choices for ducks on the water, I like paddling of ducks or since there are mallards here: puddling of ducks!

There are only too many ducks when they are in MY swimming pool and that number would be one!

There! Fixed it. Now everything is just ducky. :)

My first reaction was, "can you spot the one that doesn't have a match?". I don't think I've ever seen so many ducks in one place at one time.

Some of these ducks are mallards, and some are not really even ducks. The ones with black heads, red eyes, and white, pointed beaks are coots, which act like a duck but are actually "in the same avian order as cranes." But don't they all seem to get along beautifully?
