I love flipping through my photo files and playing with the pictures, but lately they've all started begging to be posted. "Pick me! Pick me!" they say. "Okay," I tell them, "but just for a little while." So here I am, ponying up one digital image a day, every day. (Click on any image to enlarge it.)
The true story: he had just been smashed in the face by the hard head of a small child who was sitting on his lap. The child, of course, thought it was funny and wasn't hurt at all.

who among us hasn't gotten a child's skull on the face (or more likely, the nose?) When my oldest niece was a baby, she gave me a black eye. Really.
