I love flipping through my photo files and playing with the pictures, but lately they've all started begging to be posted. "Pick me! Pick me!" they say. "Okay," I tell them, "but just for a little while." So here I am, ponying up one digital image a day, every day. (Click on any image to enlarge it.)
Janet, he runs. He races the neighbor dogs back and forth along the fence line. He takes his toys into the backyard, tosses them around, and rolls on them in the damp grass. He leaps, apparently from sheer joy. At the age he was when I shot this photo, he was also taking flying leaps at the gardenia bush and swinging from its branches. Amazingly, he and the bush both have lived and thrived.

He looks like he's been rode hard and put away wet!
Janet, he goes until he just can't go anymore.
What on earth is he doing that wears him out like that?
