I love flipping through my photo files and playing with the pictures, but lately they've all started begging to be posted. "Pick me! Pick me!" they say. "Okay," I tell them, "but just for a little while." So here I am, ponying up one digital image a day, every day. (Click on any image to enlarge it.)
Jackie, thanks for the compliment. Let me first issue the disclaimer that I am a novice photographer--strictly point and shoot--but I've become a fairly decent photo cropper. When I say "big" photos, I mean high resolution ones that would look good (not pixelated) when printed on large-size paper. That means I can get fewer photos on my memory card (than if I took low-resolution shots), but I can be pretty sure of having a decent image even if I crop away large portions of it.

LOVE your work...tell me more about your camera and what you mean about taking "big" photos to ensure good resolution.
My name is not "Unknown"...it's actually Jackie...looking forward to your response about camera AND resolution issues.

This is stunning!!! You do have quite the eye!
Holly, thanks.
For a second, at first glance, I thought it was an aerial view of a farm that had been planted in different patterns.
I think this belongs on the list of Favorites!
Janet, thanks, glad you like it. It WAS an aerial shot--from about three feet up.
